BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party Day 5

Today's card for Day 5 of the BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party features products from two of our sponsors, Lawn Fawn and cardstock from Gina K Designs.

My cardbase is a heavyweight blue cardstock from Gina K Designs. I scored and folded it to make an A2 cardbase. I used the Winter Wonderland Window dies and die cut them out with some white glitter cardstock. I then used just the arch die in the set to cut a piece of the English Breakfast pattern paper from the Favorite Flannel 6" X 6" paper pad to behind my window.

Next, I stamped my images from the Winter Birds stamp set with some Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder onto some Bristol Smooth cardstock. I colored my images with my Zig Real Brush Markers. Once my images were dry, I cut them out with the matching dies. For the snow on the tree branch I used some Shimmering Ice Acrylic Structure Gel from Kat Scrappiness. It gave it a nice shimmery look.

To put my scene together, I added some liquid adhesive to the back of the pattern paper I adhered it to my card base. I then added some thin foam strips to the back of my window. Before adhering down my window, I glued my tree branch down because I knew I wanted it tucked behind the window. I then added my window. I then adhered my bird to the nest and added him to the end of the branch with some thin foam squares and liquid adhesive. Next, I added the snow to the branch, also with liquid adhesive, then added the bird with a thin foam square. My mama bird is adhered to the card with some liquid adhesive.

I stamped my sentiments, which are from the same stamp set, with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I hope you liked the card. Thanks for stopping by. Head over to BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party  and link up your project.

BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party Day 4

I'm back with my day 4 project for the BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party.

Today my project features some glitter printed cardstock craft dies. I used two shades of the red glitter printed cardstock for the ribbon. I used the Festive Arrangement die set. This ribbon could be used for birthday presents and anything else you want to use it.

My card is a standard A2 cardbase. I cut a dark green mat to 4 1/4" X 5 1/2". My pattern paper is cut to 4" X 5 1/4" and is adhered to my green mat. I used a circle die to cut the wood plank paper.

I used some Echo Park pattern paper and some solid colored cardstock from the 6" X 6" Mega Pad for my card layers and my die cuts. I created my foliage arrangement and adhered it to my bow. I then used foam squares to adhere it to my card panel.

To finish my card I silver heat embossed my sentiments on black cardstock. I adhered the sentiments directly to my card. I finished with some red sequin from my stash.

I appreciate you stopping by today. I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers and link up your project for a chance to win a prize from one of our wonderful sponsors.

BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party Day 3

I am back with a project for Day 3 of the Spring into Christmas Linky Party. My card today features pattern paper and a scalloped square die all from our sponsor Pink and Main.

My card is a standard A2 card. My pattern papers are from the Pink and Main Merry and Bright 6" X 6" paper pad. I found my mug of hot cocoa in Cricut Design Space. I added the green heart to the front of the mug and the marshmallows to the hot cocoa. I flattened everything to make it a print then cut image. After cutting it out with my Joy Xtra, I popped it up with foam tape ad adhered it to the center of my card. I stamped my sentiment with some Versafine Nocturne ink and die cut it with s sentiment strip die. I added a narrow foam strip to the back and popped it up on my card as well. Finally, I added some Glossy Accents to the heart and a little bit of Stardust Stickles to the marshmallows.

BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party Day 2

I have my day 2 project for the BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party. My project today features a die set from sponsor Gina Marie Designs and pattern paper from Echo Park.

I cut my die from some white glitter cardstock. I found a circle die in my stash to die cut black cardstock to fit behind my glitter die cut. Before adhering the circles together, I added some white spatter to the black circle.

My cardbase is heavyweight white cardstock cut, scored and folded to make an A2 cardbase. My black snowflake pattern paper is cut to 4" X 5 1/4". My plaid pattern paper is cut to 3 3/4" X 5".  I adhered both to my cardbase with some liquid adhesive. Next, I adhered my white glitter cardstock to my spattered black circle. I used some foam tape to adhere that to my card front.

I added my sentiments and finished with some black sequins.

I hope you will join the party and link up your project. Thanks for visiting.

My first project for the party features pattern paper and an image from Doodlebug.

I started with a heavyweight white cardstock that was cut, scored and folded to make a standard A2 size card base. I cut a piece of green pattern paper to 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" and adhered it to the front of my card base. Next, I cut two different pieces of pattern paper down to 4" X 5 1/4" then cut them in two diagonally. I then adhered them to my card. I added a 1/4" strip of bright green cardstock over the seam.

I used an arch die to cut a piece of red dotted pattern paper to adhere my image to.  I found my image in the Silhouette store. I made it a print then cut image and used my Silhouette portrait to cut out my image. I adhered it to my red pattern paper after stamping my sentiment. I used some foam tape to adhere my focal point to my card. I added some stickles to the sprinkles, the cheeks, and holly berry.

I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog to check out the design team's inspiration projects, then link up your project for a chance to win one of the awesome prizes offered by our sponsors.

Thanks for visiting. Hope to see you at the party.

Let's Craft and Create Challenge #206 AG Twist Beautiful Butterflies

It's time for a new challenge at Let's Craft and Create. This month as always, the challenge is Anything Goes with the twist of Beautiful Butterflies.

My card today is a standard A2 card base. My pattern paper is from Memory Box.  My butterfly is from Cricut Design Space. I manipulated the original design, so I didn't have to place all the individual-colored pieces. Instead, I sliced those pieces out of the top layer and created a solid layer to go behind the top layer.

I ink blended some cardstock with Spun Sugar and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink and used that to cut the solid back layer. I used some silver holographic cardstock to cut my top layer of my butterfly.

I die cut a circle of more pattern paper using a 2 3/4" die. I cut my butterfly at 2 1/4".  I adhered my butterfly to my pattern paper circle with Liquid adhesive under the body and foam squares under the wings, so they had some lift.

I needed a birthday card, so stamped my sentiment on a scrap of the cardstock that was ink blended with the Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink. I used a sentiment strip die to cut it out. I adhered it to my cards with some small foam squares. I embellished my card with some dark pink Spellbinders pearls.

I appreciate you stopping by today. I hope you will head on over to the Let's Craft and Create blog for more Design Team projects and then link up your project.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #44 Challenge

It's time for a new Sketch Challenge over at BYSH Cardmakers. Sketch #44 has started. Here is a peek at the new Sketch.

For my card, I followed the sketch measurements. Mt pattern paper is from Echo Park. My stockings were cut at 1" from solid colored cardstock from the pattern paper pad. I popped them up on my card and added some white gel pen highlights. My sentiment is white heat embossed on more of the dark green cardstock. I popped the sentiment up on my card.

Now it's your turn. Pop over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog to see more inspiration with the new sketch then link up your project in our Facebook group.
